The world's leading players including from China, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Denmark, England, (all top badminton nations of the world) and other member countries. The Badminton World Federation (BWF) has 156 member countries.

Complimentary ID passes will be issued to nominated team officials on the following scale:
| Teams with up to 10 players | 4 badges |
| Teams with between 11 - 16 players | 5 badges |
| Teams with between 17 - 25 players | 6 badges |
| Teams with over 25 players | 7 badges |
A limited number of additional officials' ID passes in the players' block may be purchased at the special rate of US$100.00.
